Actually this plugin works with UTC 1 and not with the time zone you set in wordpress and it's not mention in video.
In the starting i had issues i phoneed the owner of the plugin after few years he logt from computer and patched the problem..
I understand Pro version does all the work and I wouldn't mind paying for it if worth paying for it but if you want to release free plugin in WordPress source at least make it do something...
I would maybe expect simple in the cart saying the shop is closed or disabled Place Order button or something.
