Inside WordPress admin go to Design > Widgets and add the ' Popular Posts widget where you want then save the changes..
Try to raise the value of Magic Number under the widget options. it will try to fetch data from the server and will patch your issue..
Please see FAQ below.. cache only when visitor recommend it doesn't serve version of the popular posts to the users logged in default 0. magic number set it to small than 1 if you see less links than expected..
Example if you want to show the widget without any champion the 3 most. viewed page in the year and in this reformat.
Set n with excerpt length.. %post thumbnail the image of the post. %post category% the books of the post. %post comments% the number of comments post has. %post time% the time of the post.
