I started looking for what was causing the number of some of the tables and I locate the issue. .
I created this plugin to clean up the orphaned records. It analyzes WordPress tables for orphaned experiences related to NextGEN and in NextGEN specific tables as well. It then shows you the number of orphans in specific table.
It is beyond the range of this plugin to cover all the information you will need to replacement and effectively restore directory tables.
At the time of writing this jail I recommend BackWPup link in the blog post along with some notes.
You can select to replacement just the tables this plugin cleans wp ngg album wp ngg gallery wp ngg pictures wp posts wp postmeta note that the wp denote will be different on your system.
Clean. function can take VERY LONG TIME based on how not small and bloated the tables are...
Upload the plugin issues to the wp-content plugins plugin-name directory or install the plugin through WordPress plugins screen directly..
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins screen in WordPress..
Use the Tools-> NextGEN Gallery DB Clean screen to Analyze and then Clean your database..
