Example: Add an Item to a Cart with Sailthru JS and Google Tag Manager

The example uses  Google Tag Manager parameters with the addToCart call  which is part of Sailthru. function. This call is intended to be made each time user adds item to their cart or removes item from their cart. By specifying reminder template and reminder time you can configure message that the user should receive if they do not make purchase before the reminder time has elapsed.. Note This experience requires that you have followed to Add Sailthru JavaScript Tag and implemented the Additional Code for Function Examples or your own event handler..  . Scroll down below HTML field and double-click within Triggering box to add ensure that Google Tag Manager knows when to fire the tag.. Click Trigger Configuration box then select the ensure type All Elements.... Now's the time to use the button and its ID to ensure the firing of the tag. Select Click ID and contains and enter the ID sailthru-add-to-cart in the last field.. You can find the value for your test user with Sailthru API test tool.. Log in to Sailthru account at my.sailthru. com click the number and click API Test. Then in My Sailthru inaugurate the test user spotlight by searching for the email address in the top-right field and you will see the product Incomplete Purchase Cart..........  Read more
