With customEvent call you can use Google Tag Manager to capture event on page and directly pass that event to Sailthru to initiate Lifecycle Optimizer in Sailthru or Sailthru trigger.. Note This experience requires that you have followed to Add Sailthru JavaScript Tag and implemented the Additional Code for Function Examples or your own event handler.. Scroll down below HTML field and double-click within Triggering box to add ensure that Google Tag Manager knows when to fire the tag.. Click Trigger Configuration box then select the ensure type All Elements.... Now's the time to use the button and its ID to ensure the firing of the tag. Select Click ID and contains and enter the ID sailthru-custom-event in the last field.. In Lifecycle Optimizer you need to create flow and set it to start whenever named GTM Event is submitted... You can find the value for your test user with Sailthru API test tool.. Log in to Sailthru account at my.sailthru. com click the number and click API Test. You can then wait for the email to arrive that you configured to send when this event is called or recheck Lifecycle Optimizer interface and note your incremented vector for this new flow.....
